email - Wally update

Kayrn,

Wally has turned into a very good dog although he sometimes forgets to "turn his ears on." We are still working on his coming to us when we want as opposed to when he wants. He's a terrific watch dog alerting us when anything is going on within his view or hearing. Of course that may be a bird on the porch or when the cows next door are close to the fence. He's still learning what's what, but all in all doing a great job.

email - Duncan's passing

Hi Duane and Kayrn,

Remember my wife Sue and I purchased a wheaten male puppie from you in 1998. We met you in Redmond around June to pick him up. Duncan was the greatest pet that we have ever had! We lost Duncan the night after this past Christmas. You would have been real proud of how he turned out! I have attached a few photos of Duncan for your enjoyment :)

It has taken us several months to heal from his loss and we are now interested in getting another Scottie. We really miss having a Scottie around! Could you please let us know the current and/or near future status of your litter possibilities? Looking forward to hearing back from you and long live Scottish Terriers! :)

email - Penny update & pic

Hi Kayrn and Duane,

Mark and Linda in Alaska here. Just wanted to let you know that Penny is doing well here. Just took her to the groomers yesterday for a spring cleaning and trim. She was not a big fan in the beginning, but calmed down quickly.

She is in heat again, so we are keeping her from other dogs. We did get outside for a nice long walk, away from town, and I managed to get this photo of her with Juneau in the background.

She has bonded nicely with Linda, and follows her everywhere she goes. She is still very shy of people, and wants to hide all the time, but we are working on that.

Have a great weekend!
