Fiona the Fearless

Hi Kayrn and Duane,

Just a little update video on Fiona. She is awesome! Recently she accompanied us to Portland to shop for a car, and the dealer treated her like royalty. She even got to 'test drive' a mini Mini Cooper.

At five months she is cheerful, outgoing, brave and oh, so full of herself. We'll be having her spayed in November, and she'll be off to obedience 'charm school' in January. Boy, time sure flies when you live with Scotties.

We love every minute of our lives with our wonderful trio of Montgomery of Camas Scotties. Duffy is still going strong at 11, Gus just celebrated is first birthday with a wild off leash beach dog day and Fiona keeps us giggling with her silly puppiness all the time.

Wanted to let you know that Sage is doing great. She rules Trouser. Is doing pretty good at potty breaking. Quiet at night. She goes to work with Trouser and I every day. She of course is adorable. Thanks so much for meeting us in Pendleton.  We sure do love her.

AKC Registrations

As the costs for raising puppies and registering them continue to go up, we've had to again raise our prices. We're offer two types of registration: You have the option to either get the full breeder's registration, or pay a reduced fee for a limited registration.

Our prices will now be:
Full Registration
BLACK or BRINDLE Males or Females $1,100:
WHEATEN Male or Female $1,300
Limited Registration
BLACK or BRINDLE Males $850, Females $900;
WHEATEN Male or Female $1,050

As always, our puppies come with their AKC papers, Microchip, 1st shots & worming. If you are interested in reserving a pup from our next litter, you can download a copy of our contract here.

Gus and the Golf ball

Hi Duane and Kayrn,

Just had to share this video of Gus. He found a golf ball at the beach and went in to full blown puppy mode. I know I tell you every time I talk to you just what a joy he is, but it becomes more true every day. He is a real treasure, so smart and thoughtful, handsome, obedient and cheerful. We adore him.

Can't wait to see more photos of your little Christy. She is so precious. I know she is bringing you so much happiness.

Hi Duane and Karyn, 

We wanted to let you know that Jacki is still with us at 12 1/2 years and going strong. We changed to a raw diet about 8 months ago and within a few weeks her energy level was amazing. But a few months ago she developed an abscess on her front dewclaw that antibiotics didn't help. She had surgery to remove it 1 month ago and it is healing well. The biopsy came back malignant, but it looks like they caught it before it spread. If her energy and appetite is any indication, she is good. For 3 weeks we had daily dressing changes at the vets and they all love her for being such a little trooper.

Duffy is 6 1/2 now and such a sweet loving guy.

Thank you again for all the years of Scottie love we our family has enjoyed.

Dear Karyn and Duane,

I hope you are doing well.
Oliver has grown into a very handsome boy, and I think he knows it!
He has brought such joy to our lives and has complete ownership of our hearts. He is extremely intelligent, always eager to learn and curious about everything. He enjoys stimulating, interactive play and has never had a problem retrieving toys! He has an expressive personality and is very strong-willed, yet at the same time, affectionate and sensitive. He always remains close to us and follows me everywhere like a shadow.

We recently made a trip to Seattle with him. He was very well behaved in the hotel room and had no trouble walking in the city. Pike's Place Market was packed with people, many of whom showered him with attention, which he in turn loved!

Our precious pup never ceases to amaze us. We are so in love with him and couldn't imagine life without him. Thank you so much for raising such wonderful, loving puppies.

Gus: The First Six Months

Hi Kayrn and Duane,

I've put together a little video of Gus showing his growth from 5 weeks to 6 months. He is so handsome and what a personality! Keeps us laughing all the time.

He's currently with his trainer in Portland and she reports daily on what a wonderful dog he is. You did that.

It's your love and care for your Scotties. and careful breeding for temperament that creates amazing pups like Gus.

Good morning from sunny Florida!
Lily is about 4 1/2 months and 15 lbs now. After breakfast you can find her birdwatching on top of the couch! Then we're off for a long walk where she meets her canine and human friends.
No snow here. I know she would love it !
Hope you and Duane are well and enjoying the winter. Looking forward to another puppy 🐶.
