Gus

Hi Kayrn and Duane,

Happy holidays to you and your family from all of us.

Gus has managed to navigate (up only) the two flights of stairs leading to the second floor of the house - what an accomplishment!
He's getting 'pretend' grooming sessions to get him used to the sound of the clippers and grooming tools. You can see we're only really trimming ears at this point since everything else is still puppy fluff. Ken and I really love the puppy fluff. /smile  Gus is brave, even up on the grooming table, and doesn't mind the vibration of the clippers at all.

He is such a sweetie, snuggly and happy all the time. He's beginning to push a few boundries; and he does his two minute 'time outs' in the play pen with adorable puppy pouts, eye rolls and sighs.

His appointment for final vaccinations is December 26th, after that - watch out world, here comes Gus.

We'll be back with more of Gus' adventures in the new year.

Wishing you all the best,
Jayel, Ken, Duffy, Ally and Gus

2 boys

Kayrn:

Gabe and Gus are doing great, just absolutely adorable. Our vet put their pictures up on Facebook: Grace Park Animal Hospital

They both love exploring the backyard (they love to run...and FAST, they must be Scottish Terrier Greyhounds Emoji) and wrestling like true brothers (they both have the same moves so every match is a TIE! Emoji ). Both are still sleeping well throughout the night, potty training is going surprising well, and appetites are good (as of Wednesday they are both now 10.6 lbs). Vet says they look "GREAT"!

I will have more pictures soon, just need to catch them during a rest period Emoji Thanks for checking in, we appreciate it!  Have a wonderful weekend!

First snow of the year

I love to sit and watch out of my window to see if Ruby is outside. Ruby is my special friend who lives next door - sometimes we kiss under the fence and hold hands too - there is just enough room for a small nose or paw!
I love my life!

Happy holidays from my parents and me!

Lofton pups arrive in NC

Kayrn:
Sorry I'm delayed in updating you...We all arrived safely to North Carolina on Sunday (12/3).  We chose the names finally:  Gabriel (Gabe) and Gustav (Gus).
Gabe and Gus are the best travelers...no problems in the hotels, airport, or the plane.  Gabe and Gus both acted like they had traveled for years!  :)   Picture attached from their stay in one of the hotel rooms.
It was great meeting you and Duane, please keep in touch!

Have a wonderful week!

Hamish Puppy

Hi Karyn,
We are having a great time with our Hamish...he is loved and a little spoiled. He went to his grandmas house in Yakima for thanksgiving and was just a joy.

I wanted to share a few photos. He started nursery school last week and is enjoying other pups his age.

Hope you are well!

Gus

Hi Kayrn and Duane,

Just a wee update as we continue to broaden Gus' view of the world. He's discovered the joy of cookies from the drive-thru coffee shop, had his second vet appointment for vaccinations, and met several of Duffy and Ally's dog friends. One ear up,the second is still up and down, but it's coming.
Gus is such a happy puppy and so willing to learn. Everything is a game that ends with a 'click' and treat.
I love visiting your website and seeing all the other wonderful Scotties in the Montgomerie of Camas family. It's like an online reunion.
Here's a little video of Duffy and Gus having a bit of tug-o-war.
The tug-o-war with Duffy is at the end.

All the best,
Jayel and Ken
